| When you think about it, a lot of advanced technology goes into making woven labels. Up until the early 1990s, looms were only able to make woven fabric with punch cards. When operating systems were finally introduced, these woven looms finally had the capacity to manufacture highly detailed designs. Air jet looms, which are also a fairly recent development, use puffs of high pressured air for weaving threads on the Y axis, while needle looms employ specially designed hook for placing tightly woven threads. |
